This project was a research led piece of work, starting with the natural form of Lichen (!? I know!)
Many hours of research, and different paths and cul de sacs later and what stuck with me was the story of the scientist Lynn Margulis. Margulis fought hard to be heard in the male dominated world to get her papers and theories of Symbiosis accepted over the years, being subject to ‘The Matilda Effect’.
